I was recommended to see Dr. Rivadeneira for a fistula that was related to my Crohn’s disease. He was so personable, calm, and confident in his skills. He advised me to schedule surgery for a fistulotomy, and at first I was very anxious but eventually I went through with it, and I am so glad that I did. Dr. Rivadeneira is an excellent colorectal surgeon, who I highly recommend. Dr. Rivadeneira explained to me, very thoroughly, that my first episode of diverticulitis with an abscess (Dec. 2022) was very serious and recommended that I have surgery. I scheduled the surgery, and I am glad that I did because I had a second episode of diverticulitis about one month prior to the scheduled surgery.
