Dr does not "believe" in eagle syndrome (a well documented and researched condition) despite another retired dr in the same practice suggesting it to me. Said he did not know what any of my other diagnoses are and didn't bother to read my symptoms. Tested my parotid and said its not functioning correctly but had no answer. Said I have no stones, despite the fact you can't tell without a scan. Dr. Osterhus and his nurse Kari is the best! He is a phenomenal surgeon. I had a major ear surgery (Mastoidectomy Tympanoplasty wall canal down w reconstruction) 2 weeks ago and from my office visits pre-op, to the OR, to post op care I have recieved nothing but the best quality of care. He listens, he is very informative, spends time with you to discuss everything in great detail. Went to see dr. Osterhus for perforated eardrum. He said keep doing what I've been doing. He didnt give me any meds, none. I was hoping for eardrops or something. I have to use peroxide and sweet oil myself. That's what I've been doing for years. Was hoping for some kind of help. I felt he could have done more.
