I chose Mr David Oehme after I did research on lots of other people too, he came up with flying colours and well deserved. David did a microdiscectomy at L2/L3 level for me on 30th January. He and his staff are highly professional, empathetic and understanding. The Operation went off without a hitch. My pain was gone and only the wound hurt but was very neat, and only a tiny bit of blood on the bandage. St. John of God Hospital in Berwick was the best hospital I've ever stayed in, the staff, the room, the care, the food - all exceptional. If ever I need surgery on my spine again - I'll go straight to David - he was quietly amazing 👏
David was absolutely fantastic. Had disc replacement surgery and it has been the best thing for my neck. Full recovery. I've had three knee surgeries with three different surgeons in my earlier years, David is by the far the best surgeon I have come across. Could not recommend more highly!
I recently saw David regarding pain in my lower back and left leg sciatica. During the consultation, he was very thorough and detailed in providing all the necessary information. He suggested multiple treatment options and after careful consideration, we proceeded with an L5/S1 microdiscectomy. The surgery resulted in zero complications and instant relief from the intense nerve pain. Throughout the entire process, David and his team have been amazing and I would highly recommend to anyone.
