I thought Dr. Kruse was a complete jerk! I will NEVER use Reston Hospital again!
My son was hit by a car while bicycling so naturally my husband and I were distraught by the time we arrived at the ER. Dr Kruse was very dismissive of us and our concerns about my son’s complete loss of short term memory after a head injury. He never bothered to introduce himself. When my husband asked a question, he curtly silenced him saying “you’re not my patient“ he continued giving instructions to my son even though my son was unable to remember anything for more than a few seconds. Dr. Kruse did an excellent job setting my severely dislocated and fractured ankle at the ER. The is a highly skilled professional.
This doctor has no compassion for how a patient is feeling. Made the diagnosis fairly quickly ruling out kidney infection or no infection but has no answers for the extreme pain for few days following a UTI. Discharged me feeling no better than when I went in. I cam home and vomited. He thinks my face was cheerful indirectly saying that you are faking it. As if he will be paying for my deductible and coinsurance. No one goes to the emergency room for faking pain. Horrible doctor, very rude , wonder if he is high on narcotics... read more
