Absolute gentleman in the field of orthopaedics
Dr Lunz did an excellent job fixing my ruptured Achilles tendon. His approach was very thorough and efficient. I liked his manner and way he explained what I could expect from the surgery. I was more than impressed with the outcome and was back skiing after 6 months (not what I had read was possible in some medical journals). The strength of the repair meant I was able to ski at my old level, difficult, steep terrain and bumps without problem. I am very grateful I could get back to my old level of physical ability.
Dr. Lunz removed a Morton's neuroma between the 3rd and 4th toe in each foot in February 2024. The risks were succinctly explained. The surgery went very well, and the recovery period was exactly as advised. The scarring is minimal. Within 4 months I completed a 120 km hike over 6 days, with an average of 750m elevation gain each day. I can highly recommend Dr. Lunz for foot surgery.
