The Best orthopedic around Amazing Helpful staff
Outstanding doctor.....has performed 5 surgeries for my 2 collegiate athlete daughters.....His level of expertise, skill, and communication are all extraordinary!
Dr. Higgins repaired my left shoulder total separated rotator. He had me in PT the next day. I was back on the golf course in 10 weeks. Dr. Higgins, the staff and the PT group are the best I have ever experienced. I know this because I've experienced very bad (so called) PT experts who did more damage than help even to the extent of injuring my L-4, L-5 causing more surgery. MDSMC PT have my complete trust.
Dr. Higgins replaced my right shoulder. I recovered completely in a few month and can now play tennis. Great doctor.
Dr. Higgins has been my doctor for more than 20 years. He has operated on my shoulder, knee and thumb. He has also operated on my daughter's shoulder. He is a wonderful physician, great bedside manner and makes you feel very comfortable.
One of the best orthopedic surgeons around! He has even worked with the Olympic team! I've had one knee and 2 shoulders done by him. Accurate diagnosis, terrific bedside manner, excellent follow up. You can do the rehab onsite, so the therapists can just ask him questions if needed. I wouldn't even consider going to anyone else!
Our family have used Dr. Higgins for 2 shoulder surgeries (2 different people) and 3 knee surgeries (2 different people, 3 different knees). We've recommended him to other friends & were originally recommended by someone whose daughter was a star college goalie and our two sons played soccer and hockey & still play them!. He is GREAT and will spend as much time as you need to discuss and answer questions. His time & rapport with patients is at a level very few doctors even try to achieve.
