Dr. Gandell is a great doctor. I recently got called in for a follow up to a mamogram and Dr. Gandell and his team took the time to return my call and explain to me what the report said on a Friday afternoon. While others just kept saying it is probably nothing, he read the report and answered my questions. I was so appreciative for the peace of mind and someone actually talk to me. I highly recommend him.
Dr Gandell is great in an emergency! He actually believes his patiants when they call for severe UTI. His office is helpful, and did not make me come in when I could not walk because of other health issues. His staff was great, He immediately sent in prescription!!! That was on a Monday morning....my urologist did not respond to calls, did not have my husband bring in sample to lab; as Dr. Gandell did that morning. I did not hear back from urologist office till Thursday.Hospital is where I'd be!
Dr. Gandell is a wonderfully and caring doctor. He makes sure that during any medical explanation I fully understand all possibilities. I appreciate that. When it was discovered I had pre-eclampsia in my last pregnancy he actually drove me to hospital stayed with me until my husband was able to make it in. He also checked in on me every morning of my hospital stay. It would have been easy for him to call an ambulance but he took time out of his night to make sure I was ok. I highly recommend him
Beware of this doctor. He will prescribe/recommend UN-NEEDED procedures. Specifically biopsies.
Dr. Gandall is very friendly, funny, and likable. He spends time talking to patients and answering questions thoroughly. He is gentle and efficient with exams and procedures. I was referred to him for a specific procedure, so I only had 3 visits. I did have an unusually long wait on my first 2 visits (30min & 1hr!) however, this was mostly due to a miscommunication from my PCP regarding my referral. Dr. Gandall was accommodating but I end up waiting. My 3rd visit I only waited 2 minutes :)
