I totally agree with Shay Barnes. I went to see him on January of 2024. I needed my wisdom teeth pulled. He’s very short with you and he’s cold, and he’s callous. I also asked him about a piece of paper that I had to sign, indicating that he might damage other teeth in my mouth when he pulls my wisdom teeth. He completely ignored my questions and concerns I had. so I decided not to hire him as my oral surgeon.
Had 3 extractions have never had an experience with simple extractions like this ever before and have had all 4 impacted wisdom teeth removed and a molar. Office staff was okay. Dr seemed okay. Normally my gums are numbed prior to needle entering, this guy had zero compassion for that! He returned never asked if areas were numb which they were not! He continued the extractions! This experience has restored some of my confidence, thank God! I was not pretending I was ready! I should have taken Xanax to have the 2 back teeth extracted. In the past I have not numbed well or not at all but the assistant made the judgment call and did not have a secret meeting with the dentist(making me feel stupid) and at my chair side made the call that I needed to be sedated and boy was I thankful.
