In 2013 I broke my ankle in 18 places (fell at work). It was horrific. He managed to save my leg by screwing the fragments together with two large plates (one on tibia, one on fibula) and 15 screws. Some pieces of bone were small and could not be screwed together but he meticulously placed them all together like a very intricate puzzle and carefully monitored my progress. Very professional and competent, but also has a good sense of humor and a good bedside manner. I trust him completely. Had both orthoscopic surgery and a complete knee replacement and was very satisfied with the surgery and the post-op treatments.
Dr Kuester has done foot surgery, replaced a knee and hip, removed a cyst, knee scope and numerous injections. He is always very professional and kind. Everything is explained so you understand and all questions answered. More important you never feel rushed. I highly recommend him.

Dr Kuester performed numerous surgeries on me including 3 carpal tunnel releases and rotator cuff repair. Casted a hair-line crack in my arm. Each time he thoroughly explained the procedure and the recovery period. My husband needed 2 hip replacements but he also had some urological issues. We explained this to Dr Kuester who came up with a plan to insert catheter during surgery and improved the experience. He takes the time to explain and answers patients questions thoroughly. Great surgeon!
Dr Kuester was excellent in helping me through my knee injury. He did a great job of explaining what was happening inside my knee and laying out the possible options for fixing it. As an athlete my ability to return to sports was very important to me. Dr Kuester walked me through the recovery periods and possible future limitations for each option. I really appreciated his honesty in each possible outcome while always remaining optimistic and never pressuring me on my decision! Great Doctor
