Never met the man. After waiting exactly one month for an appointment after a referral from my doctor, I arrived 15 minutes early, did paperwork and then sat for over an hour. No announcement from staff that he was running behind or had an emergency. A few other patients that I talked to were there a 1 1/2 hr after their appts. I finally told the staff that I was leaving to find another doctor. Even then no apology, no we're sorry, or do you want to reschedule?...nothing. Horrible experience. They require you to have any procedure within 30 days of a visit. And then they don't have any day available, so you have to go back in for another office visit. Went in twice and couldn't get an appt. within 30 days each time. Very disorganized office.
Could not be more disappointed if I tried. Went to him for severe issues for months...he had the audacity to tell me that I was getting better when I wasn't. Informed me my colon took a while to 'relearn'. Assured me that he could always do a surgery as an option. When he FINALLY came to the conclusion a surgery would be necessary - informed me he was not the guy to do it. Even his nurse was surprised. Personal experience with Dr Cloney ended in 2 family members having poor outcomes and emergent care was required post operatively. Not my favorite person.
I have one surgery from this doctor, and it went very well. I healed well, and the scars are VERY minimal. He seemed very interested and very concerned for me and what was going on. He seemed to know his stuff. The nurses are nice too.... they seem to care. The office-different score. Dr. C has a 9 out of 10, and the office has a 2 out of 10.
