understand the difficult nature of oncology, but I feel deeply disappointed in Dr. Grimes’ treatment of my mother. Once it became evident that chemotherapy was not working, he appeared to lose interest in her care. Despite still being his patient, he provided no follow-up after a distressing surgery, during which metastasis was discovered throughout her abdomen. Dr David Grimes (David as he prefers) is a wonderful Oncologist. I have known David since 2018 and I feel very lucky that he has been my Doctor. Professional, knowledgeable with a kind, compassionate bedside manner. David always explains everything thoroughly and goes through my pet scans meticulously, answering all my questions. I question a lot I highly recommend David if you’re on a cancer journey.
I am Patricia, using my late husband’s account. My darling was diagnosed pancreatic cancer in June 2021 Dr Grimes, David he always wanted to be called, was very compassionate, willing to listen and had a marvellous bedside manner. Sadly my darling passed away on December 2022, despite all the efforts and did what we could in humanly/medically possible way. I was happy he had Dr Grimes as his oncologist. Thank you David

Dr Grimes was brilliant in getting me through my treatment. I was HER2 positive stage 3 and terrified. He is a great listener and was patient with my requests for help and was very clear with what I needed and why. My husband and I where so relieved in was my oncologist. Thank you Dr Grimes 🙏
