I have had two surgeries from Dr Reed both vitrectomies Dr Reed and staff made the process smooth and took the fear out of the process. Everything was explained to me in language I could understand. I perceived a genuine care and concern for my results and how I was feeling. I highly recommend this firm, Dr Reed and staff specifically. 5 stars is not enough to show my appreciation

Dr. Reed is amazing. He repaired a severely detached retina in my left eye with marvelous results. Very easy to talk to and really listens to his patients. Everyone in the practice is top notch from the front desk to all the techs. Highly recommend Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston.

Dr. Reed treated me for a retinal hemorrhage with a Vitrectomy Surgery and Laser Photocoagulation. My sight has been completely restored. He was very highly recommended to me by my Optometrist and I found him to be very competent, reassuring, and has a very positive and cheerful demeanor. He made a very scary and worrisome situation for me very much easier.

The operation was a success and his post-op protocols were much easier than the first time. I'm not sure if the protocols regarding recovery have changed since my first operation in 2018, regardless it was much easier this time. Obviously I hig... read more

I was referred to Dr. Reed when I was diagnosed with a macular hole. It could have been a frightening diagnosis, but Dr. Reed and his team put me at ease and managed my care beyond my expectations. He and his staff were reassuring, friendly, punctual and professional. From my pre-op appointments to the day of surgery, and through my recuperation as well, things were timely and smooth, and I knew exactly what to expect. With their guidance I was able to prepare my home in advance so that my recovery was comfortable and seamle... read more
