My experience with Dr. Reed and his staff was Very Positive. Everyone was kind, considerate, knowledgeable, and understanding for my concerns. I had never heard of a macular hole or Vitrectomy Surgery. Dr. Reed explained everything to me in a way that I felt comfortable and knew what to expect. Things went just as he said they would. He also explained the importance of following his post-op instructions. I highly recommend Dr. Reed and his Team. My surgery was a complete Success.
I have had two surgeries from Dr Reed both vitrectomies Dr Reed and staff made the process smooth and took the fear out of the process. Everything was explained to me in language I could understand. I perceived a genuine care and concern for my results and how I was feeling. I highly recommend this firm, Dr Reed and staff specifically. 5 stars is not enough to show my appreciation
Dr. Reed is amazing. He repaired a severely detached retina in my left eye with marvelous results. Very easy to talk to and really listens to his patients. Everyone in the practice is top notch from the front desk to all the techs. Highly recommend Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston.
Dr. Reed treated me for a retinal hemorrhage with a Vitrectomy Surgery and Laser Photocoagulation. My sight has been completely restored. He was very highly recommended to me by my Optometrist and I found him to be very competent, reassuring, and has a very positive and cheerful demeanor. He made a very scary and worrisome situation for me very much easier.
I recently had my second detached retina. My regular doctor was on vacation so because of the urgency of my condition I was assigned to a new doctor, Dr Reed. Among other things I found his communication style excellent making me feel comfortable and confident of a successful outcome. The operation was a success and his post-op protocols were much easier than the first time.
