Dr. Hughes is a great doctor and listens to concerns. He explains and tells you risks and benefits. Treats you like a person. His staff is also amazing.
I recently moved here from another state and have previously been in pain management for over six years, with a bunch of different health issues with chronic pain. My very first visit I brought all my CDs, previous notes, reports and scans from my old pain management doctor. He did not care. I felt abandoned by Dr. Hughes in my time of need, when I was explaining my symptoms to Dr. Hughes it felt like he was checked out mentally like he wasn’t actually listening to me, or just didn’t care about my pain. Our communication felt rushed and I left with more questions than answers.
Everything went very well.
Dr. Riggenbach is a very competent and thorough physician. Unfortunately, his front office staff is very incompetent. Trying to get a call back in a timely manner won't happen unless you owe them money (I am confident). Checking out took way too much time.
Even though a physician's skill and judgement are more important than bedside manner, I really appreciate this doctor's positive energy. I would happily refer a family member to this outstanding physician.
Dr. Powell actually listened to me and addressed my concerns, in a manner that the patient can make a wise decision!
Waited an hour past appointment time. He wouldn’t listen, was rude and condescending. Barely spent any time in the treatment room. Would not recommend him at all. Even one star is too many.
