Dr. Chance saw us at Hoag during a devastating time when a brain tumor first caused symptoms in a family member. She calmed us down with her soothing, matter of fact manner and her careful explanations of what was occurring and how she was going to treat him. She was a rock in a storm and helped us start well on our brain cancer journey. A nurse friend later told us that she researched neurologists for her mother's brain issues and learned that Dr. Chance is the best in Orange County. Our family agrees!
Terrible doctor. Rude to patients. Poor diagnosis capability; Unprofessional follow-up. It is unfortunate that this guy has any affiliation to respected medical centers at all. He spends only a matter of a few minutes with patients even with critical medical needs. If you should encounter this guy, make sure you get 2nd. opinions on anything and everything he says. Your life may depend upon it.
Dr. Victor Beretta is an outstanding doctor. He took great care of me at Newport Hogue hospital, and is also very friendly and helpful. You can really see his experience, as he is thoroughly in control of the surgery. He gets 5 stars.
Dr David Brown is a lawsuit in the making....
We have been very pleased with Dr. Brown. If it had not been for him we would have never known that my husband has a very serious sleep apnea problem. He asked us many questions which resulted in him having a sleep study that found this problem. He took his time with us and we feel very comfortable with him. He also helped with some aftermath of a stroke post surgery.
Dr. Chance is very caring. Her demeanor took the edge off making my mother feel comfortable right from the start. She really listens.
