Dr.Bernal does not belong practicing! He is an awful doctor! Takes advantage of the elderly patients who don’t know better and trust in him. He placed my father in law in hospice with no reason. No Diagnose! After taking him to emergency with a white cell count higher than the doctor had ever seen! A blood clot and pneumonia! One doctor asked why we hadn’t brought him sooner and we explained we had been seeing Dr. Bernal for the last two weeks. If possible, I recommend avoiding Dr. Bernal’s office. Communication with the office staff is extremely difficult, and reaching someone by phone is nearly impossible. Additionally, the staff appears unprofessional and often fails to follow through with referrals unless reminded multiple times. This lack of responsiveness and follow-through has made the experience very frustrating, one star because I had to click or else I couldn't leave review.
This office has poor communication. I have repeatedly called and no one called me back. My mom needs her medicine. They don’t care. I’m switching doctors.
The staff does not answer phone and when they do the wait is very long. They don't call back to update on test results. The staff claims they cannot hear on the phone and hangs up!
Mom likes the doctor but office staff NEVER answers the phone. She goes weeks with out being able to schedule an appointment because they never answer. Then they put you on hold and forget about you. They need to hire efficient staff that will actually answer the phone.
