I was a patient of Dr Sokol's from 2015-18 before I moved to another state 10 hrs away. Just recently, January 2024, I called his office and left a message for him to call me back. And he did! I needed reassurance that a treatment being prescribed by my new hematologist was appropriate. Dr Sokol reviewed my prior records, listened attentively to my questions/concerns about side effects. We are extremely grateful for his identification of an unusual blood disorder (he dug deeper) and whose role in organizing a team for these complex blood disorders can not be overstated.
