Dr. Raskin and his entire staff were wonderful to me, and from what I could see, they were equally kind, thorough and patient with everyone. I was very concerned about my diagnosis and he sat down with me and went over every one of the studies and tests that had been done. This was a great change from other physicians who seemingly could not be bothered to do so. If I had a question, he answered it. Moreover, he cared about me as a human being & I appreciated his kindness & concern.
The office manager is a rude nasty person.
I never got the opportunity to meet Dr. Raskin. I never got past his cruel and insensitive office manager who when I came in was speaking very unkindly to a patient advocate and when she finished with him went in on me - for trying to reschedule my appointment because of issues with my health insurance. Cancer is a scary disease and chemo, radiation and surgery is a scary process. I want a health care provider who understands this and is sensitive to the needs of the patient.
