Sadly I will not be returning here. I have Lynch syndrome which requires a colonoscopy every year, endoscopy every 2 years. Polyps have been found every year but he tells me I can come back in 2 years. No, that’s not the protocol for Lynch syndrome. I basically have to beg for a colonoscopy (which I dread doing them) and I shouldn’t have to. I should feel like I am being taken care of and don’t have to tell a doctor what needs to be done. If you try and call, you will be on hold for 10-30 min.
My husband has seen Dr. Tessler several times in office and also for clinic procedures over the last few years. He is kind, professional, knowledgeable and takes the time to listen to our questions and clearly explain so that it is understandable to us. The office staff & nurses are always helpful and kind. It is also convenient having a Sonoran Quest lab on site.
Be prepared to wait on the phone for 15-20 minuets. Then if the call is transferred to another phone you wait another 5 minuets and then when it rings it ends the call and you get to start the whole procedure over again. This is the second time this has happened to me.
I arrived for my first appointment. They told me my deductible of 200 wasn't met, as I stood in front of them talking to MY insurance company who was telling me it WAS! Terrible way to treat a patient, and they were completely wrong. Wanted me to give them 600 up front. Are you kidding me! No wonder they have bad reviews! Had to leave and go to the ER. Just a horrible experience.
