I have had Dr. Saperstein help me with my eyes for the last 20+ years. I am grateful for the work he has done and for my sight, that I have retained with the help of multiple surgeries performed by him. I note another reviewer's assessment of Dr. Saperstein's "cold fish" personality and unwillingness to answer questions. I disagree with that; rather, I'd say he is warm and caring, but somewhat detached, as surgeons can tend to be. Retina peel and vitrectomy with excellent results. Dr. S has excellent control. I could watch the tweezers inside my eye, which was indeed pretty cool. Very good support staff both at the office and surgery.
