Very unfriendly staff & the doctor has poor bedside manners and is not willing or able to listen to my issues
He showed up at the delivery of my second child and did an okay job, but left the delivery of the placenta to a woman who was training. Delivery of the baby 20 minutes/delivery of placenta on pitosin with no pain meds,over an hour. Almost needed a D&C. Fast forward 9 years, my mom, grandma and aunt died of breast cancer so I asked about genetic counseling and mammos and his answer was it up to you but they were all post menopause. excellent experience with entire group of doctors in this practice
Dr. Kalla delivered my second child and listened to me, rather than the nurse who was not listening to me, making it a much more pleasant experience. With my third child, he did not allow me to be induced early (which I wanted), and even though I was annoyed then, I am so thankful that he didn't give into my whining....my daughter was born perfect!! (although he didn't deliver her).
Dr Kalla, This Doctor almost caused me my life. I had an staph infection after my hysterectomy, half of the wound opened up. He did put me on antibiotics but after constant complaints he did not open up or drain the other side. This infection spread to my stomach and intestines. I underwent two major abdominal surgeries to save my life. This Doctor should not be treating anyone. Anyone looking at my wound new there was a severe problem including his nurse but he did nothing. Very good doctor! He delivered my daughter and is now helping me with infertility treatments to help us conceive again!
