My first visit with Dr Hartemink I noticed he talked a lot more than I did. At the end of our visit I asked if he would like me to speak about my symptoms. He recommended a biopsy I paid in full, then a ct scan I paid in full. Then a laryngoscope I paid in full. After all that he could NOT confirm or even speculate a diagnosis until I did not 1, but 2 more procedures. I’m now spending more of my time going to another doctor. Don’t waste your time!
Dr Hartemink said he wanted to help me with my persistent sinus & throat infection, & said he'd order CT scan of both sinuses & neck. The staff then only ordered a necks scan W contrast, I'm allergic to contrast. I told them so & said "Please call Dr Hartemink's office & add the sinus scan too, because he said he would order it. Meanwhile I got VERY SICK, connected with this, I couldn't function; & so I couldn't even make a phone call to ask Dr.H's office for help with this. I first visited Dr. Hartemink for a sinus condition. After treating an infection and a ct scan, a sinus operation was recommended to correct some lifetime sinus issues. The operation was completely successful. I found his office personnel very helpful, scheduling went without any issues and Dr. Hartemink was very easy to work with before and after the surgery. He listened and considered my concerns, developed a plan of action and the result is outstanding. I highly recommend Dr. Hartemink
Dr. Hartemink was both compassionate and thorough. I saw him for a ruptured ear drum which turned into a sinus surgery. He took great care of me from beginning to end and I had complete trust he would take good care of me. He has wonderful bedside manner and listened to all of my questions/concerns.
Dr Hartemink was friendly but didn’t help my issue of chronic sinus pain and infections. He didn’t feel the need to do anything. I spent hundreds of dollars on this appt & CAT scan. I felt brushed off, maybe because of my age, 60’s.
Dr Hartemink is both professional and courteous. When I had additional questions, he patiently walked me through them. As a surgeon, I am incredibly pleased with outcomes - the limited trauma and fast recovery are clearly related to his skill. I would recommend him to anyone.
I had a terrible experience with this provider. He literally told me that I needed to "learn to live" with one of the main issues that led to making an appointment with him. I didn't feel that he listened to me at all, and I had to ask for a hearing test, which was absolutely useless as I could see the woman administering the test pushing the buttons! Dr. Hartemink was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and willing to spend time explaining things to me. I'm glad that he was my doctor and surgeon. His staff were also personable and helpful.
Dr Hartemink is amazing. He truly cares and spends as much time with you as you need. He preformed my sinus surgery and I knew I was in the best hands. I very highly recommend him. I can’t say enough good thing about him.
