The staff is friendly but Dr. Steele just isn't all there, I started seeing him for severe depression after my mother passed. It's in my notes and every time I see him, he asks. "why do you think you're depressed?" or "Why are you so sad?" and the Nurse that's always with us just looks at him surprised because I still can't talk about my mom or even barely think with out breaking down. I fear seeing him because I know he won't pre-read my chart and just make me cry again.
Dr Steele made me feel uncomfortable and shamed. He’s unprofessional and overbearing and rude.
I got to shadow him 2 years ago. For those that hated him, he was just misunderstood. Great physician, mentor, and kind person. May he rest in peace.
I have waited too long to give a review, but after reading a few of the bad ones... I feel that I must share. I visited Dr. Steele back in November of 2010 for a mass on my throat. After sitting in his office being asked many questions, which felt like an interrogation ... and talking about topics non related to my mass ... he then told me it must be broccoli stuck in there.
