I was in the ER last week and I had a great experience with Dr. Privett. He was very caring and took the time to sit down and talk with me even with the ER being crazy busy. He was very focused and helped me to feel at ease.
Was “seen” by him at Henry Mayo in the ER. Very rude and unprofessional. Still having discomfort around my heart after seeing him with no answers as to what it is or how to alleviate. But thanks to him he gave me steriods and medication to help with coughing even though that’s not even what I went in for. Everything he was telling me was stuff I learned in my high school anatomy class. All I have to say is when you’re taking care of patients, actually listen to them and don’t roll your eyes like you have better things to do.... read more
Saw this Doctor at Henry Mayo Hospital ER. He is the most careless, condicending and unprofessional doctor I have ever seen being in the healthcare industry. I strongly believe he should not be working at the ER and specially with people who are there for urgent metters or in severe pain to a point the patient could pass out. He did not do or order a blood test on a patient who was just diagnosed with DVT(urgent life threatening condition) and prescribed blood thinner with no base of what Pts pt/Ptt is.
