Every time I visit My Dentist in Plano (Dr. Dickson’s office) for my semi-annual cleaning, I’m reminded why I don’t go anywhere else for dental services. The dental & office team create a joyful and warm environment. Salam, my cheerful hygienist, also went above and beyond to deliver a delicate, but effective cleaning experience. I’m so thankful for My Dentist in Plano and look forward to coming back!
I visited this dental office due to tooth pain and scheduled my appointment in advance. I was informed the visit would cost $68, and I provided my dental insurance details at the time of booking. However, during the visit, my actual concern wasn’t addressed. Instead, I was told they needed to evaluate other aspects first and recommended a cleaning before discussing next steps. I needed to fill a hole on my tooth, and I was charged $2800, being told it was a root canal. Not even 2 months later the fill came off. I went back to the office for redo, and that was refused. I had the same problem about 10 years ago and i had work done at another office and did not cost me anywhere near this price of "root canal". That work done on my tooth, lasted me for 10 years.
