I find it hard to believe any negative comments about Dr Weiss. I was her patient for many years. She was extremely kind, thorough and knowledgeable. Dr Weiss was the only doctor to successfully dose my thyroid medication after my thyroid ablation. She always went above and beyond endrocrinology to help with other health issues. I considered her my primary doctor and have missed her since she left her practice. I felt obligated to leave this review as my experience was amazing.
The last time I visited Dr. Weiss was maybe between 2016-2018. Not exactly sure. I would like to say she is one of the best endocrinologist I have had. Unfortunately , I do not live in CA anymore and have moved and also changed employer/insurance. Anyways, as a patient I felt like she cared. I do not have a thyroid gland and from time to time I feel "lazy." While under Dr. Weiss care I felt energized and "normal." . . . Dr. Weiss does a great job and is one of the best.
Sadly, one of the worst doctor experiences I’ve ever had. She used zoom for my initial consultation, then following the recommended tests, she said I needed a biopsy but could not do it herself even though that’s what she does for a living. When I repeatedly called her office to discuss, the answering machine said leave a message and we will get back to you in 24 hours. Resulting in lack of prompt attention or follow up. Dr Weiss has helped me so much with my hashimotos and hormone issues. I would highly recommend her.
Dr. Weiss is exactly what I was hoping for in a doctor! She is empathetic, knowledgeable, straight forward and absolutely cares about the person sitting in front of her. I am so confident that she is going to be able to help me with some of the issues I've been experiencing for so long. She gives me hope! Thank you Dr. Weiss for taking the time to really listen to me. I am very grateful. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, kind doctor.
