Dr Refai is absolutely incredible…impressively patient and generous with his time explaining things to people who know very little about complex neurosurgery and ask a lot alot of questions. I am confident he saved my mom’s life and wouldn’t accept any substitute. (His fellows/residents are quite impressive as well)

An amazing surgeon. He was so nice. He did my surgery 8/17 and I was home on 8/18.
Check in was so smooth, and the tech Walter was a joy!! After 2 prior surgeries involving rods and screws and extensive recovery time I heartily endorse ENDOSCOPIC DISCECTOMY! It is an amazing procedure! Recovery was 2 nights in the hospital rather than 5 or 6 and I was back to work in 2 weeks with a 3/4 inch scar rather 4-5.
