Dr. Refai is amazing. He did a major surgery on me in July of 2025 and it helped me so much. He has the best bed side manner and helps explain things so you can understand it so easily.
I personally found DR.Refai to be a very knowledgeable spine doctor. When my spine got into trouble and needed thoric parts to be replaced. He immediately started operating. To prevent me from becoming paralyzed. I thank God for his knowledge and for guiding his hands. I've gone from not being able to walk (wheel chair bound). To a stationary walker, a walker on wheels, a 4 foot cane ,a one leg cane. Today I'm so overjoyed that I'm walking on my own and pray fully staying healthy. I could not recommend any doctor more highly than Dr. Refai. Not only did he do a wonderful job in fusing my C1 and C2 Vertebra, but in all my dealings with him, he expressed both concern and care. He has a wonderful bedside manner, which helps when one is concerned about a serious health problem. Dr. Refai listened very patiently to my list of questions and conveyed a sense that he was there solely to take care of me. Dr. Refai performed my surgery 4 years ago. I am so thankful for him. I can still walk and live my life. I absolutely love and respect him.
