This is the second spine surgery that Dr. Refai has performed on me and just like the first surgery, the results have exceeded my expectations. Dr. Refai is an extremely skilled surgeon. He does an incredible job of explaining all aspects of the surgery and the recovery process. He has an excellent support team that did an outstanding job before, during and after surgery. I give Dr. Refai and his team my highest recommendation.
I had an excellent experience with Dr. Refai for spinal surgery and cannot recommend him enough. His decisiveness and experience gave me confidence and I was impressed with how minimal the recovery process was, all things considered. I went from being in unbearable pain to feeling normal again almost immediately afterward.

After several years of attempting to find the right doctor, I came upon Dr. Refai through a friend. He insisted a Laminectomy and TLIF would eliminate my pain and give me back my lifestyle. I was walking immediately after the surgery and finished the pain meds the first week. I’ve been pain-free since then. I can’t recommend him enough for those with lower back challenges. I cannot thank Dr. Refai enough for giving me my life back. I suffered with sciatica for two years, and after a fall injury, the pain became unbearable. I spent two weeks in the hospital unable to walk or even use the bathroom on my own. Dr. Refai performed a minimally invasive surgery, and the relief was almost immediate.
