Dr. Kunz refused to take me on as a patient because I was "obese and have PCOS". I saw my Core endocrinologist who treats me for those issues and he laughed and said that had nothing to do with what I was experiencing and specifically put that in my medical records because it was so ridiculous. I now have to drive out to Nashua to see a rheumatologist who actually cares and I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. Not shocked that a middle aged man doesn't believe a woman, but maybe he shouldn't be a doctor. On the plus side, if t... read more
Dr Kunz is great. He is caring, compassionate and does a great job telling me what I need to hear regarding my condition. He is very knowledgeable and i'm confident he does everything possible to help me manage my symptoms. After a few years bouncing between a different rheumatologist and an orthopedic doctor i was unable to obtain a diagnosis. He took one look at me and allowed me to explain all of the symptoms I was experiencing, and during our first visit, without any imaging knew my exact diagnosis. We of course went thr... read more
I consulted Dr Kunz for debilitating chronic pain following a spinal fusion surgery that left me unable to return to work. He "diagnosed" me with fibromyalgia and dismissed everything I said to the contrary, despite admitting there's no clinical evidence available to back up his assessment. He explained I had no pain management options available, suggested I try yoga, and told me to look on the bright side - it's not cancer (it won't kill me). The arrogance and callousness of his attitude was nothing short of appalling. I ha... read more
I have been a patient of Dr Kuntz for 2 years My last visit I thanked him for being such a wonderful doctor and told him that having him as my doctor made me feel safe. He’s so smart and kind he diagnosed my scleroderma with in minutes and has kept track of my autoimmune illnesses. There is no better or smarter rheumatologist in this area.
The first and only time that I met Dr. Kunz in 2025, he wanted to put me on gout medication for the rest of my life based on a measurement from 2019 (6 years prior to any sort of diagnosis) and prior to several more recent measurement lifestyle and diet changes. He's probably the most unscientific Dr I've ever encountered. As an Engineer, this type of shooting from the hip with zero analysis approach seems incredibly sloppy, especially as it relates to taking medication for the rest of one's life.
