Dr. Caligiuri is an excellent hand surgeon. I developed CTS from repetitive work injuries and was referred to him by another patient whose clean incision I admired. It was a workers comp case and workers comp is a very frustrating process for both the patient and the doctor. It is often fraught with treatment delays because everything has to be approved by the WC Board and covered by the employer’s insurer, who often refuses to approve treatment and habitually engages in delay tactics. In July of 2017, I injured my left wrist at work and I was referred to this doctor by worker's comp a little over a month after my injury due to my job not reporting my injury promptly. The receptionist was not nice at all, I overlooked it because I was in too much pain and discomfort to argue.
