Best surgeon I’ve ever encountered! Explained everything to me before surgery, was very thorough and answered all my questions. After my surgery was done, I got the best post op care. He called me the next day after my surgery, gave me his cell phone number in case I needed anything. Dr. Caligiuri is an excellent hand surgeon. I developed CTS from repetitive work injuries and was referred to him by another patient whose clean incision I admired. It was a workers comp case and workers comp is a very frustrating process for both the patient and the doctor. It is often fraught with treatment delays because everything has to be approved by the WC Board and covered by the employer’s insurer, who often refuses to approve treatment and habitually engages in delay tactics.
