Just had my 12 month review with Dan after a total knee replacement last January. I must say l'm really pleased with results. My bend is now up to 130 degrees, l can walk without pain (or a limp) and l've resumed playing football, even if it is only the walking version. I was aware of the possible outcomes of TKR surgery so l've worked hard with the rehab, but the results so far have surpassed my expectations. Thanks so much Dan.
I have my reasons after being under his team at fsh. I was asked twice if I wanted to go private and I said no. I did end up going private with someone else after being told surgery wasn’t necessary and to mobilise. I had a ct (private) which showed my foot was still fractured and dislocated. The X-ray I had done at fsh also pointed out malalignment. I am left wondering that if I had said yes to going private then would I have had the surgery which was necessary. Dan Marshall is a bloody awesome specialist. He sorted my ankle which i had torn ligaments both sides. I had torn ligaments 5 previous times playing netball over the years and the last surgeon stuffed it. I wouldnt go anywhere else!!
Absolute legend. Recently had surgery with Dr Dan and will have another one in the coming months and I'm very happy with the process from consult to surgery. The process and procedure was explained to me in detail that was easily understood and his energy made me feel confident and safe throughout. Would recommend him to anyone needing Ortho surgery. Dr Dan is your man.
