His caring bed side manor and cautious attitude towards surgery.

Far and away the worst experience with a doctor and staff in my LIFE. Waited nearly 2 hours for my 2 year old to be seen. Then they acted shocked when we wasn't cooperating. Well, you used up all his cooperation time making us wait for 2 hours past the appointment time plus the 15 minutes before they demand we arrive to fill out paperwork. Then in not so many words he told me my sons hearing was fine, he just wasn't very bright. Bottom of the bell curve were his exact words. Horrible dr and even worse human being. Avoid him ... read more

It's a busy practice, but Dr. Sorvino listens, he's thorough, and his judgment is really good. I found the staff pleasant, wait times normal, everything efficient, and was highly satisfied with the treatment and advice.

Initially I had spoken with Colleen Pascucci and the receptionist at Advocare ENT to explain my situation. I had told them that I would need the CPT codes for my procedure because my insurance recommended to obtain them as it may help with my high deductible. I have Oscar Health Insurance with a $10,000 deductible. After explaining this, I proceeded to schedule the appointment to get a nasal endoscopy and for the CPT codes. When I went for my first scheduled visit, I waited over an hour before meeting with Sara B. Immerman. ... read more

DO NOT GO TO DR SORVINO HE WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY AND GIVE YOU NO MEDICAL ADVICE!! To preface, this is the first negative review I have ever provided a doctor because it was THAT bad. I wish I looked at reviews before I went to this doctor because they are so accurate. The Doctor: This doctor will tell you there is nothing wrong with you and it is "in your head, and sometimes people just hear things and you need to try to ignore it". Now I need to see another physician because my condition is worsening and I can barely hear o... read more

I’ve worked withDr. Sorvino at Morristown Medical Center for over 10 years. His Reputation at the hospital is excellent. Everyone who I have sent to him over the years has had excellent results and they have thanked me for recommending him. As I read some of these negative comments, they almost seem like they are personal attacks and not about his caring nature and his surgical skills. Somewhat surprised. My two cents. I recommend him unequivocally.

Speaks so fast there's no chance of understanding anything he says and its all because he is so obviously doesn't care about the patients. He cut me off when I was explaining my sons nervousness and told me I should let him speak as it doesn't help him if I always speak for him. HE HAD JUST HAD A TONSILLECTOMY AFTER BEING SICK FOR 3 MONTHS!! Clearly does not have children of his own. Never again. Horrible with parents and kids.

Dr. Sorvino is a horrible doctor and person. We waited nearly an hour and a half in the waiting room. When we finally got in to see him, he spoke a mile a minute. Most importantly, he asked my son where he went to college. My son responded Cornell. His response? Anyone commit suicide yet this year? Great guy.

Would not recommend Dr Sorvino to anyone. We took my child to be tested for a hearing loss. His lack of communication with the lady who sells and I mean sells hearing aids was pathetic. All about the money. They made it absolutely clear that it my child was not important.
