She did not listen and was not in the room more then 10 minutes.
After 3 short visits I now understand why I was always the only patient there no matter what time of day my appt. was. Rude, arrogant and extremely judgmental! Wanted to treat me as a junky though she was NEVER asked for any meds outside of fibromyalgia medication that I was ALREADY taking! Never once laid a hand on me for medical purposes. Dr. Mehta was kind and very considerate of my feelings and worries. She explained my diagnoses throughly. Dr. Mehta also called me a few days later to check on me to make sure I was doing ok. I would absolutely refer her yo anyone. I told my primary care provider that i was so happy I had been referred to Dr. Mehta.
Blamed everything on my weight, told me to “lose 100lbs and you’re still hurting come back”. She refused to run any additional tests on me, other than what my primary doctor did. She gave up on finding out what was wrong with me by appointment #2. Run far away.
One of the worst Doctors I have ever seen. Would not listen to my concerns, totally dismissed the fact that a specific type of arthritis exists. Took look one look at my blood work and said you don't have lupus, you have a sinus infection. I did not! Horrible bedside manner. Totally dismissive. Also does not believe fibromyalgia is a real disease. Whatever you do...do NOT see this lady! Stay clear. You have been warned. If I could give her zero stars, I would!
