Dr D was great. Very thorough. His office manager/call taker/wife/receptionist, however, is absolutely off the rails. I don’t know if he realizes that she’s blocking patients from asking him questions, but she is. I had a follow up with him today, which went well. I had to call later on in the day to see if he could change the medication that I’d been on for only 2 months because the copay became unaffordable (over $800/month), and the copay assistance program for the medication is not compatible with my insurance plan. I visited this doctor’s office for help with pain in my lower leg and left feeling completely disrespected. Rather than listening or showing any compassion, the doctor dismissed my concerns, repeatedly interrupted me, and spoke in a condescending tone. His wife also entered the room and spoke to me rudely, and the doctor went as far as to call me a liar and say I was “nuts.” I’ve never experienced such unprofessional behavior from a healthcare provider. Poor care of elderly patient.
This Dr. and his Office manager are a God send!!! At 30 my husband was barely able to walk and get out of bed. We felt hopeless and lost. I called every Dr. around and Tara returned our call (NO OTHER PLACE DOES THAT) she understood our pain and helped us get an appointment ASAP. Dr. D is so specialized he knew exactly what my husband had after a year of us searching for answers. We are just over a year into his treatment and our lives are back to normal. Very rude office manager and Dr. D's wife Tara. She embarrassed me in front of other patients because I didn't have enough money for my visit. She stormed off to go tell Dr. D. as she was mumbling and saying all kinds of things to me. All she ever does is talk your ear off talking about her kids and the vacations her and Dr. D go on. Very unprofessional. I left him and started to go to Dr. Busch office instead.
