I was so excited to see Dr Cynthia based on what I had read on her website, and she did not disappoint. She has a kind and easy disposition that felt comforting and validating. She gave me the time and space to fully explain how I’ve been feeling and respected my own thoughts and theories about what is going on. I’ve felt very dismissed by doctors in the past, but Dr Cynthia listened to me. We’ve created a treatment plan, and I feel very encouraged for the first time in a long time.
At my first appointment with Dr Thaik, I realized I had found the most caring, knowledgeable cardiologist possible. Her care is superb but it is her depth of feeling for her patients that won me over. I have never had a doctor hold my hand in concern for my thoughts and well being. Stellar human being with stellar cridentials!!!
This was a bad visit. Interuptend multi times. Dismissed completely. I was so disappointed by this chaotic experience. Didn't even get to tell her what was happening to me. She took one look at me and wrote me off. Don't waste your money or time. Wish I had the doctor that people gave better reviews too Edit: I have wrote this reply multiple times but me ranting about your behavior is not going to help anyone reading this. So instead, Thank you for proving my point so clearly here. Do better for the next person.
I would not recommend Dr. Thaik for people looking for a doctor who listens and cares for their concerns. Dr. Thaik frequently interrupted in my appointment as a new patient. She stopped our ~ 30 min appointment to answer her phone and check her texts, multitasked with other patients health records and interrupted me when I talked about my symptoms to provide her commentary. This blocked my chance to speak openly about my needs. She was seemingly dismissive of my top priorities (ex. insisted I get proof of the health conditi... read more
DO NOT RECOMMEND. My mother just had a visit with her today and I found Dr. Thaik to be very belittling in her meetings. I understand not to sugar coat but to dismiss my mom as if she’s not aware of her condition was frustrating. It’s almost as if Dr. Thaik already had an impression of my mom and did not want to listen to her. Dr. Thaik kept saying my moms A1C is 9.1 so her sugar is 200 when we tried telling her that her that her A1C isn’t 9.1 it’s her HEMOGLOBIN!!!!! Dr. Thaik was very rude to also cut our session short 30 ... read more
