She was very dismissive of my symptoms and I ended up going to another Dr and received antibiotics. Additionally, she was very pushy about me receiving a c-section. She gave me a narcotic while I was in labor and my son was born having trouble breathing and responding and was in the NICU for 4 hours. She never came to tell my family the baby was born. One of the most non-compassionate drs I have ever came across. She was working at Las Colinas at the time.
This doctor is extremely dismissive and condescending. When I mentioned I was taking B -vitamin and NAD injections, she was quick to tell me that they "Don't work", following it up with the old-school mentality "I know, I'm a doctor". I felt like the outdated mindset of a bygone era where patients are expected to stay quiet and simply agree. Felt rushed and didn’t really feel like she was interested in hearing my questions. I’ve called the office a few times for questions or requests and never get a call back even when i follow up.
I recently had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Motta. It was my first and last visit to this healthcare provider. The doctor was aggressive and rude, lacking any bedside manners. She didn't conduct a proper assessment—no questionnaire, no blood tests, and she didn't even take the time to answer my questions. Told me I was healthy and instead, she shamed me for my weight and told me I needed to stop eating. She didn’t ask what my eating habits were, she just assumed I overate! Dr. Mace Motta has been my Doctor for many years and I follow her where she goes. She is pure amazing, compassionate, smart, and takes time to treat her patients with the utmost care. She is the best!!!
