Dr Shank is an incredible doctor with fabulous surgical skills and an immense heart. I’ve never felt more comfortable talking to a doctor or more confident in a doctor’s abilities. I am truly grateful that we found him! Only the best for my daughter! She's recovering well from her recent knee surgery! The Dayton Children's community is truly blessed to have a physician of his caliber!
We saw Dr. Shank last week for a foreign body in my daughter’s palm. His office was beyond kind, and I’ve truly never felt more genuinely cared for. On the Friday of a holiday weekend, (& with us all a bit skeptical of how ‘urgent’ this truly was) he had every right to wait and see her back on Tuesday, yet he scrubbed in and scheduled her surgery the very same afternoon. My son first began seeing Dr.Shank because he broke his wrist. He has seen him multiple times and every time has been a good experience. No long wait times, no mistakes, everyone is friendly, and no one shows any type of attitude towards my overthinking/ worrying , they just do whatever necessary to put our minds at ease.
