Dr. Craig Dean prescribed me the antibiotic Clarithromycin even though I take Plaquenil (hydroxychloroquine) for lupus. I had a severe reaction and genuinely thought I might die that night. My medical record clearly shows that I have lupus and take Plaquenil, so he should have been aware of the potential interaction between these medications. I do not recommend Dr. Craig Dean.
I am writing to express my concern about the unprofessional behavior I experienced during my visit to AdventHealth Centra Care Deland. Dr. Craig Dean exhibited a concerning attitude and demeanor throughout my appointment, which left me feeling disrespected, dismissed, and upset. Very pleased with how professional and quick we where seen. Dr. Dean looks too young to be a Doctor lol
This is an Advent Health walk in clinic. I made an appointment online on a Wed evening and they called me to tell me that it was a 3 hour wait, so I made a new appointment for first thing on Thursday morning at 820. I went in for my appointment and was told that the doctor was not in and would not be in until 10am. That was disappointing!! I made another appointment for 115pm. It is now 257pm and I have not been seen. If you have all day to spend here then the place is perfect for you.
