I was a new patient with Dr Courtney Kennel. The initial scheduling and appointment went well. After the appointment I got lab results that were urgent and needed to be gone over. I called every day for over two weeks and the front desk kept putting a note on my file but told me the nurse would get to the results when they have time. This is the first time I've ever written a review of this nature, but I feel compelled to share my experience. I have been trying to reach Dr. Kennel for over a week regarding important test results for a family member. I was told I would receive a call back from a nurse, but after several days with no follow-up, I called the office again. During one of these calls, I was placed on hold by a woman named Mandy. I have seen Dr. Courtney for a number of years and she's always helpful, listens, has compassion and remembers past conversations/visits. I wanted a younger Dr (nothing against old ones) and when I came across her and her father's practice I was super happy. If you're from around here, you know everyone is somehow looped into Multicare or Franciscan and they are both full of headaches. Don’t see Courtney Kennel if you’d like any worrisome symptoms to be diagnosed. Had my appointment 5 weeks ago for a cardiology referral. She has not gotten a referral yet and though I’ve called twice to ask, the front desk tells me she hasn’t even read my messages and nothing has yet been done. The appointment with her was for nothing. She also said she was prescribing meds- no med was even sent to pharmacy. Don’t make an appointment unless you want to feel forgotten.
