I have seen Dr. Courtney for a number of years and she's always helpful, listens, has compassion and remembers past conversations/visits. I wanted a younger Dr (nothing against old ones) and when I came across her and her father's practice I was super happy. If you're from around here, you know everyone is somehow looped into Multicare or Franciscan and they are both full of headaches. Don’t see Courtney Kennel if you’d like any worrisome symptoms to be diagnosed. Had my appointment 5 weeks ago for a cardiology referral. She has not gotten a referral yet and though I’ve called twice to ask, the front desk tells me she hasn’t even read my messages and nothing has yet been done. The appointment with her was for nothing. She also said she was prescribing meds- no med was even sent to pharmacy. Don’t make an appointment unless you want to feel forgotten. Was excited to hopefully find a good primary care doctor. Went in trying to address possible hormonal issues as well as insomnia and depression. Was given one light antihistamine to try. Called the clinic to tell them it was not working for me and to see about other options. A nurse called back days later to tell me I am to young at 35 for hormone concerns and they would not look into it for that reason alone and that they would give me one more med to try and if that did not work there was nothing more they could do to help... read more

Giving 4 stars as Dr. Courtney Kennel is really awesome. She's easy to talk to, listens, and it's clear she cares about her patients. Would do 5 stars but the last time I called the front desk/whoever schedules appointments was extremely rude. I called in August to schedule an appointment (was hoping for it to be in the same year) but the earliest they had was January.
