Dr. Flick was my physician for over 20 yrs before I move from NC. From my first appt to the last he’s always been thorough & taken my health seriously. He’s extremely knowledgeable & stays up to date on latest medical practices & medications. I was very comfortable asking any question. Met Dr Flick today. My normal Dr was out. He was very friendly and took time to explain without being condescending. Very knowledgeable. Still like Dr Carr but this Doctor Flick is also top notch.
I've seen Dr. Flick for years. I find him responsive to questions, a good listener, and has a great bedside manner. Dr. Flick stays up on the cutting edge of primary care medicine.
He seems thorough and he listens to my concerns and addresses them
My father doesn’t speak English well. With chronic pain, diabetes, high blood pressure & high cholesterol you would think an experienced family physician would do a follow up visit & refill meds in less than 30 minutes. At his third visit, my father waited for 1 hr & 45 minutes for a follow up. He had an appt. No one apologized, Dr. & office staff treated him in a discriminatory way & were rude to him. This was intentional to make him leave the office. Integrity & character speaks volumes.
I've been a patient of Dr. Flick for at least a decade and I sincerely hope he does not retire any ttime soon! He listens well. When he is not 110% sure of the next step to take (this happened one time - due to several illnesses attacking my body at once) - he takes time to contemplate and seek other opinions from doctors he trusts. He is caring, compassionate and conservative when it comes to writing prescriptions. This is unlike the dr. I saw previously who prescribed drugs all the time.
says my wife has asthma....after 10 minutes exam...bronchitis. Basic ...misdiagnosis and a a rush to judgement. as a former SF medic...easy to see he was into making a schedule vs getting to know the patient. arrogant.
