I had been seeing Dr Yu for over 20 years. I would give him a negative 10 if I could. I had a si joint implant surgery by him. He failed to honor my wishes of General anesthesia and I had sedation. He allowed sales reps into the OR without my consent. Plus the last 9 minutes he stopped even sedation. He did not attach it properly it came loose from my illium not migration. Don’t waste your time here. Takes months to get in for established patients. Process you like cattle, don’t remember anything about your case, and you will get injections by residents who are training on you like guinea pigs and don’t know what they are doing. Dr. Yu is argumentative and acts put off by you being there. Terrible bedside manner. Don’t practice if you don’t like it!
WARNING! I just met with Dr. Yu at his Seattle office. His records included numerous additions that were never raised nor discussed during my earlier visit. I think he was padding the record to cover his liability. He ARGUED with me about who, what, when, and where. To bolster his argument, he wanted to show the computer screen (with my medical records) to someone who came with me to my appointment. This was totally unprofessional. We got up and left his office. Horrible doctor absolutely no empathy! I had to fire him and get another doctor. Been stable ever since I left him and his clinic!
As far as I’m concerned anyone giving Dr. Yu a negative review hasn’t given him a chance. When I saw him the first time I was wondering if I should see him a second time. I have to drive a few hours to get to Swedish and I wanted to make sure my drive was worth it. Now, having seen him for about 7 years, I’m so glad he’s my dr.
