I saw her once when I got lung problems due to Long Covid. She seemed knowledgeable and gave me a prescription that helped. We scheduled a follow-up appointment in six months. A few months later my condition took a serious turn for the worse and I tried to make an appointment with her. I was told that it was not possible to get an appointment with her before the previously scheduled one, which was still months away. The nurse said to go the emergency room if I felt too bad. Dr. McEvoy is a thorough doctor who knows procedures and facts really well and thats why she got one star. There were many times when I felt like she was signing me up for too many unneeded scans and invasive procedures that wouldn't benefit me at all. I began to wonder if it was for her own research. I felt like her guinea pig. She does things by the book but when it comes to empathy, compassion, and understanding, she is not up to par.
