I have been a patient for around 15 years for colonoscopy procedures and around 5 years after being diagnosed with gord. I have nothing but respect for the professionalism of the team.
I presented with a long history of constant abdominal bloating, gas and wind. Constant burping and debilitating stomach discomfort during entire waking hours. Had been on a strict Gluten free diet since Yr2000. Did all her recommended tests found nothing remarkable. Diagnosis was 'Irritable Bowel' which the internet told me I had for free. Suggested a Low Fodmap diet which I was already on. Did not have ANY improvement in my condition from seeing her. No genuine concern for trying to get to a cause and treatment.
