Was a patient here for a good five years. The majority of my appointments were five minutes or less. A very brief couple questions about how the medication was going. I never felt that I was receiving the highest quality of care. The admin staff rotate very quickly and appear to mainly be recent grads. They are not always entirely professional. This clinic loves a good missed appointment fee so be ready for that I suppose. I'm not trying to write a smear campaign here but please do better.
This "psychiatrist" did not know what pure O was and was not aware of the existence of adult adhd. I'm not exactly sure how one can be allowed to practice psychiatry in Canada without knowing basic things? If you are unlucky enough to be referred to him be sure to beg your family doctor for another.
I have just lost my father 2 days prior to my appointment Dr Okonkwo was yawning the entire time he was asking me the questions that I had previously filled out online I told him of my dads passing and he said nothing to me I also told him I wanted to die and go be with my dad and once again no answer it was like I was wasting his time do not go to this doctor if you want mental health help he did absolutely nothing for me when I needed someone the most worst doctor I have ever had the displeasure of meeting
Dr. O is wonderful. He’s been my Psychiatrist for many years now. If I need something urgently, he’s called me after hours to help and emails back on weekends. His help getting me on the right medications has changed my life. I am very thankful for him!
