Dr. Schirmer saved my life in October of 2015. I had a major hemorrhagic stroke and brain aneurysm. If it wasn't for him, I'd be dead. I see him every single year and I thank him personally every year for saving my life. These comments about him being dry and his personality are ridiculous! Who cares if he's dry! He's not here to be your buddy and hug you! He's an amazing neurosurgeon. I thank every day of my life for this man.
I personally felt that he had no compassion for others. You could not ask him questions. He was very rude. For personality and compassion I would give him a very low rating. The doctor may know his material but he needs to work on his people skills.
Not good in understanding feeling and concerns of patient and the family. Very dry!
