I sent both of my children to Dr Charbonnet… both of my kids absolutely loved him! Going to the dentist is scary for any child, but he made them feel so comfortable! They were never in pain (as we experienced prior to finding him) and the anxiety was completely gone after a few visits with him. I went to schedule an appointment with him for my daughter, and his practice is closed??? Did he move? I hope he is ok!!!! I’d love to follow him if he moved. Does anyone know? Is he ok?
I had very good experiences here. I started seeing Dr. Charbonnet in 2006 in Covington and later in Metairie he had a wonderful staff who worked alongside of him. I contacted the office today because my 10 year old need braces and I thought well I know the right person for him to see an unbeknown to me the office was closed. We good luck to you and I will keep you in my prayers.
The overall experience was good however my daughter had a baby tooth that had not been pushed out by her adult teeth. He said the teeth was fine and did not recommend extraction. Now a year or so later the baby teeth has to be removed and she has to get braces again. Insurance will not pay so this will be an out of pocket expense. Just extremely disappointed that after seeing him he didn't admit the error and didn't offer to replace the braces at no cost due to ill advisement.
He is horrible!!!! He basically robbed me off $5,000! After 4 years, I still have spaced teeth and a huge overbite. He has way to many clients. He scheduled my appointment so far apart and nothing really changed. One appointment was schedule 9 week out. Do NOT go to him!!!!!!!!!!! Please don't waste your money. My stomach cringes at the fact that I have to pay for another set of braces. Not to mention, the staff is unprofessional!

If you still have spaced teeth and a huge overbite after 4 years, I would seriously look into your own cooperation factor. Keeping appointments, wearing elastics full time, broken brackets due to diet. Any of this sound familiar. I cannot do it without your cooperation. I am sorry you are displeased.
I have been receiving care with my braces by Dr. Charbonnet for a long time and never been dissatisfied!
