Dr. Piat is terrible doctor who does not advocate for his patients. He is currently treating my mother for COPD and I am horrified at his lack of patient care. She recently suffered a flare-up that required hospitalization. In her follow-up appointment, she asked what preventative measures she could take and was told “nothing can be done” to prevent flare ups. A simple Google search shows he’s lying. Save yourself the stress and find a different doctor. Dr. Piatt is caring for my elderly mother with COPD. She experienced her first flareup back in December, and I was with her when she called his office so feeble and weak asking the nurse to do something to help her. They would not see her “because she was sick. ” I’m not sure what kind of a doctor has the authority to not see a sick patient, but that is absolutely unacceptable!! Dr Piatt took care of my boyfriend of 30 years. He had been in nursing home for a very bad stroke and developed pneumonia. Dr Piatt was so gentle in explaining that my loved one would not recover. He and the staff of Bryn Mawr ICU treated my beloved with respect, compassion and tenderness. I cannot thank them enough.
I just left Dr. Piatt's office, and I want to thank everyone for my wonderful first-time experience with this practice. All of the women in the office were cordial, pleasant, and helpful. Dr. Piatt patiently reviewed my medical history and thoroughly described what he observed and recommended. He explained everything clearly and concisely and answered all of my questions.
Dr. Pratt was so wonderful. He took care of me, made sure I had a follow up, took his time. The front desk and schedulers were helpful, courteous, and friendly.
