Dr. Bir is exceptional. When my daughter was in crisis and every provider had waitlists into 2026, he saw us that same Saturday and blocked off his entire day. He never rushed us - not then, not in any appointment since. He takes a comprehensive, thoughtful approach. Dr. Bir has been an amazing help to my family.
Dr. Bir abruptly cut off all contact with me at my lowest point with no explanation. It was a really devastating experience for me and years later I still can't bring myself to see another mental health professional because of it. I tried initiating a patient abandonment/medical malpractice lawsuit, but haven't been able to find anyone to represent me.
Dr. Bir is the best doctor I could ever imagine. He is extremely accommodating and he is very helpful in understanding patients as a whole. He takes a more unconventional approach and really takes the time to get to know his patients. I have never spent so much time and felt so understood by a doctor.
