Came here for follow-ups to throat cancer. He has a lot of creds which, apparently gives him the right to be dismissive of patients. Doesn't listen, but if you insist, he becomes very defensive. First time in I told him I used a mouth lubricant because my salivary glands were damaged by radiation therapy. He said "that doesn't work". Totally wrong. I have never seen a more dismissive and arrogant doctor. Ironically arrogant about being wrong, too. Only go here if you want to be mistrrated.
He doesn’t even deserve 1 star. I took my mother to this appointment and Dr Schmidt was the most condescending doctor I have ever seen. My mom said she had never been treated so poorly by a physician. I watched my mother scream in pain as he dug in her ears and was so dismissive about her having any pain. She still has the same problem she walked in with. As she was getting this hearing test the door was left opened and they were talking about other patients with first and last names.
