I scheduled an appt for a follow up as I hadn't been for two years. My appt was scheduled for November 25 in the Oxnard Office. A few days before I received a call from a woman asking me if I really needed to be seen, did I really need the appt. I told her yes. She then started interrogating me asking me if the Physical Therapy helped. I said no because I still have pain in both legs. She then asked sternly "did they get an ultrasound"? Who's they I said. After working with Nurse Practitioner, Amber Young for about a year now and I must say that she is "stupendously" fabulous! Her kind and skillful ''bedside manners' are remarkable! She is one of the most supportive medical persons I have ever come across! If there is a solution to your medical issue, she will support you in getting to the bottom of whatever brought to you first visit. Dr. Skillern has been my doctor for several years. Doctors like him are rare and hard to find; caring, honest and explains things in detail. He is the sane to you on each visit. Hw is not filled with self-absorbed ego. I feel safe in the care of DR. SKILLERN. " My true hero of this type of caring doctor.
