Visit to Dr. Waters as a second opinion, and decided for him to perform my hiatal hernia surgery. I found him to be so knowledgeable and confident in his expertise. He is very kind and maybe feel very calm about the procedure. I was so pleased with the results of the surgery. Janis Ellen Mathews
Dr. Watters saved my life! I was in his care for almost 8 months after I had an issue with a prior surgery. He is tough but fair and doesn't offer needless niceties. He is straight to the point. I have since recommended many friends and relatives to Dr. Watters and they couldn't be happier. He will always be my first choice should I ever need any type of surgery in the future. 9 months, a scar and a bill and the condition is the same. Didn't listen to me. Said 'I know what this is and I'll fix it.' WRONG. Staff was as arrogant as he is with natural homeopathy magazines in the waiting room I should have known better. If you have more than a boil to lance, stay away.
Dr. Christopher Watters is without doubt the finest surgeon you will find anywhere. Fortunately for me he was at Duke Raleigh Hospital in July 2014 when I needed emergency surgery, and I will always be grateful to him for saving my life. He has a special skill in the OR and is also the most compassionate, caring, honest, and humble doctor I have met. He meets you at your level and takes the time to explain things to you and your family. His staff is caring, efficient, professional, and pleasant to work with.
I absolutely hate going to the doctor and never give ratings on anyone or anything!!! However, I wanted to take the time to thank Dr. Watters and to let everyone know what a good doctor he is! I am a man who will avoid going to the doctor at any cost!! My wife laughs when I say I feel "violated"!!! So imagine my horror at finding out I needed a hernia operation!! I have had the honor of working side by side with Dr. Watters in the operating room for several years. Dr. Watters is the surgeon for us, our families and our friends. He is THE most knowledgeable, compassionate, trustworthy, professional surgeon (person!) you will ever meet! Only God knows how many lives that man has saved... Would not recommend this office. Very inconsiderate, cold, and unfeeling staff. Additonally, their policies are not customer/patient friendly. Arrived 2 mins before appointment time but appointment was canceled because it was not "15" mins before. Extremely frustrating and insensitive to the patient's time and money. You cannot tell me that an office that operates in that manner is concerned with yours or my care. I would seriously re-think this doctor as your choice. Dr. Watters is a wonderful surgeon. He is very compasionate and spends a great deal of time explaining things to you as well as answering any questions that you may have. I have had two surgeries with him. Both times have been a good experience. I can hardly even tell where the surgical scars are anymore.
