I’m certain that if it weren’t for Dr. Shafer giving me the correct diagnosis and medications there is no way possible I would be alive. His staff is fantastic, but I don’t know what I would do without him being my doctor. ☀️😊

He's an amazing doctor and has a wonderful team. This physician truly cares about his patients and already I can feel a positive change not only in my epilepsy but my entire attitude. He treats you as if you are family. I am so ecstatic he is my doctor.
My partner had an appointment with Dr Barbara K. She was amazing and asked several questions. She even had Dr Schaffer come to double check all his systems. The whole staff was amazing and so friendly too!
Dr. Shaefer was my attending during my stay/testing at Jewish Hospital recently. I was very impressed with him, how he seemed to really care about me as a patient even though it was only one day. He thouroghly reviewed my history and talked with me in depth about options and what was going on during the testing. He is the first doctor to fully keep me in the loop. Would definitely switch him to my neurologist if I wasn't satisfied with my current provider.
